As it is technically Ash Wednesday (though VERY early on the West Coast)... I say- here we go!
1. My Fellowship of Thanks! Thanks, Peeps for bringing the positive back! (and the sexy)
2. My Bro! For picking me up at the airport and making me tea upon arrival
3. The incredibly bright stars that stopped my downward spiral into melancholy on the plane...

From Sarah!
ReplyDelete1. I'm grateful for Jenn, who makes me laugh and sometimes cry in a good way, and who always gets it.
2. I'm grateful for my job. Period.
3. I'm grateful for the Dave Matthews song Pig, which always puts me in the right frame of mind, when nothing else does and I'm feeling sorry for myself. And when I'm not. It never fails to realign my priorities, as did this email, Jenn.
From Heather!
ReplyDeleteThree, and one for good luck:
1) I am extremely grateful for my friends. (yes, a bit cliche, but damn I love mis amigos!)
2) I am WAY grateful for being able to keep my job--who would have thought that teachers would be laid off by the dozen? Thankfully, being "older" has its perks somewhere...besides Denny's.
3) I am grateful to glade plugins and the decent smelling air fresheners. My cat can straight up stank up the whole apartment, my students (bless their little stinky middle school selves) have made me a firm believer in Glade, and the whole hallway (puberty is truly a bitch!) gets sprayed OFTEN.
+1) Jenn, you have always found a way to make those around you feel special. I hope, in return, you have been able to feel the same love.
From Stina! (Sarah... I expect you to deal with #4!)
ReplyDelete1. I am grateful for friends who wave at me from the airport.
2. I am grateful for friends who send really cool birthday gifts even if it's late. :)
3. I am grateful for the kisses of small dogs (Kara's dog Rubi peed all over the place when she saw me because she got so excited. I had armfuls of mini dauchunds all over the place - I totally cried on the way home...I think I miss the freaking dogs more than I miss the kids!!)
4. I would be grateful for someone to spellcheck "dauchunds"
Jenn - this project is amazing!
ReplyDeleteOK, here goes...
1) I'm grateful for friends who reach out and make me think and feel a lot of the things that I tend to lock inside :-) .
2) I am grateful for my amazing little girl. The fact that she's a healthy, thriving, smart and beautiful little thing just blows me away each and every day.
3) I am grateful for the Backyardigans! As amazing as my little girl is - sometimes I need a few minutes :-)
From Jo (who from a time zone point of view should have been first on this blog! whoops busy day here!)
ReplyDelete1/ I am grateful for the 9hrs sleep I got last night.
2/ I am grateful that my friend survived another attack from her illness and my god daughter was unharmed.
3/I am grateful for my sis xx
Hi gang,
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for:
1. My husband who loves me when I am a wreck (and who just offered to clean the bathroom when he gets home tonight. I mean...what?!)
2. My house and the food in it (it looks cold out today to be homeless)
3. This really superb idea (without which I would have no Lenten plan yet)
Talk to you soon, all,
Anne
Hi gals! Here I am, never fear...
ReplyDelete1. My children and their good health, above all, above everything else in this big world.
2. My husband and his undying love for this family, even when the days are long and the money is tight, he meets the challenge with love...
3. My mother, who is here this week to light up my children's lives, and to make Swiss Steak, which pretty much rocks my world. For these things I am grateful!
