1. Believe it or not- my job! Mainly because it affords me the opportunity to be away and buy my nephew all manner of Cars friends! (Today we got Filmore, Flo, Gray Hauler, Lightning MacQueen cup and shades!)

On the Second Day of Lent...

...at least on the West Coast! I have rechecked the blog settings (having screwed up before) and thus Anonymous is back to being an option for whoever wants in!) I will continue to post here daily and email maybe! Lord knows, I gots a lot to be thankful for!

Thursday...
1. My nephew's delicious, impish smile. (And the fact that out of nowhere he decided he wanted to make "apple soup"... little Top Chef in the making!)
2. The way my niece snuggles in!
3. My continued work on setting personal boundaries... so hard for me!!!

On The First Day of Lent, I Was Very Grateful For...

As it is technically Ash Wednesday (though VERY early on the West Coast)... I say- here we go!
